Who are we?

Young@Heart Face Painting and Young@Heart Bling'n"Things are the pride and joy of Cherie, your friendly Face & Body Artist.

Cherie started Young@Heart Face Painting because she has a love for making wonderful memories for kids, young and old, and what better way then painting their faces and seeing those big beeming smiles at the end!! She enjoyed this so much she expanded into body art with Bling'nThings.

Why Face Painting?

When looking around her local area, Cherie noticed that there was a distinct lack of Face Painters near her. So, she decided to start her own Face Painting Business.

It was something she had been wanting to do for many years, but had had to put on the back burner, until finally she was able to make it happen.

… and now we have Young@Heart Face Painting.

When did you first start Face Painting?

Cherie worked off and on for quite some time to build her skills and knowledge in Face Painting. But it was May 2022 when she started working towards starting her own business. By October 2022 she was ready to launch.

How did you become a Face Painter?

In the beginning it was mostly practicing at home on the family, then gradually Cherie enrolled in some Online Training for Face Painters.
Starting with the Face Paint School Australia, and then the International Face Painting School.

Cherie also holds a Membership with FABAtv which have over 600 lessons and tutorials available for members to learn, and refresh, their skills in Face Painting.
 

There has also been the watching of numerous YouTube Tutorials provided by well-known National and Intenational Face Painters, and Social Media discussions, and private groups, that have provided an invaluable resource as well.

What is Bling 'N' Things?

Young@Heart Bling 'N' Things is the newest addition to the Services we offer. It includes Glitter Tattoos, Henna Tattoos, hand-made Bling. Festival Glitter just to name a few.

That is a really good question.. why should you??

Well, hopefully it is because you have heard of our great Customer Service; Our desire to see your child ecstatically happy when we come to Face Paint at their Party; Or a desire to make your event a roaring success by adding our Face Painting and / or Bling'n'Things services to your entertainment.
